A60 and A65 Compost Turner

Maximum Performance. Minimum Fuel Consumption.

Maximum Homogenization at High Volume.

The BACKHUS® A60 and A65 windrow turners are built around a large-diameter, high-torque, slow-speed drum that reaches the full depth of the windrow on every pass, ensuring thorough homogenization and oxygenation from top to bottom.

The A60 processes up to 6,500 cubic yards per hour and handles windrows up to 20 feet wide and 9 feet tall. The A65 steps that up to 7,200 cubic yards per hour while accommodating windrows up to 21 feet 4 inches wide and 10 feet tall.

That combination of high-capacity output and fuel-efficient operation makes the A60 and A65 a strong fit for large commercial composting facilities and municipal operations with demanding volume requirements.
