Redback horizontal grinders handle challenging feedstocks and create high quality and consistent grinds.
With the widest feeding table and feeder floor in its class, the DS800T is designed with a proportional feed control system that adjusts the infeed rate to maximize throughput. With a generous infeed opening of 3’, the multitooth feed wheel has a manual crush down feature to keep even the toughest materials moving.
Equipped with a CAT® C18 785 hp (597 kW) Tier 4 Final diesel engine, the DS800T is ready for your most challenging grinding operations.

ADVANCED COOLING SYSTEM
Designed in cooperation with Caterpillar®, the cooling system helps mitigate overheating, allowing you to operate at peak performance, longer.
FEED WHEEL
Multi-tooth design with a 3’ lift height features a manual crush down feature to clear jams.
ROTOR AND ANVIL
Designed to withstand damage from contaminants, grinding chamber has heavy-duty, key-locked hammer tips that overlap the rotor discs for complete grinding coverage.
HEAVY-DUTY SCREENS
Provides a long service life and can be simply detached when a screen change is required for quick alterations in product dimensions.
CONVEYOR
Measures 60” in width and 24’ 6” in length, featuring a maximum discharge height of 14’ 10”, ensuring a high-volume and steady flow of materials.
FEEDER FLOOR
High-torque motors directly drive the infeed conveyor and feed wheel, rather than on chain drives.
REMOTE CONTROL
Wireless remote control allows a wheel-loader operator to oversee the machine's functions effectively.
