Ventus 4 Density Separator
Four-Fractions, One Machine.
Don’t toss your valuable organics - separate them! Throwing out your contaminated overs costs you in lost revenue and removal expenses, but the EcoSift Ventus 4 Density Separator lets you easily decontaminate your overs inline with an existing screening system or recover valuable organics from a legacy overs pile. It’s the decontamination solution you’ve been searching for.
Using innovative air drum technology, the Ventus 4 density separator removes heavy aggregates and other contaminants at the start of the separation process. Then a magnet separates ferrous from non-ferrous metals and the lighter fraction contaminants move to the triple suction fans which removes plastics and light fractions and discharges the contaminants out of a vent.
You’re left with clean, contamination-free, sellable material.
Product Features
Expansion Chamber
The ‘magic’ of the EcoSift happens in the expansion chamber where the feed product is separated by density, creating your desired end product.
HEAVIES CONVEYOR
The heavy fraction is discharged on a heavy-duty, metal-pleated belt with easily adjustable speed and angle.
MIDSIZE/CLEAN WOOD CONVEYOR
The final product from the EcoSift is midsize or clean wood product that is more than 95% free of contaminants.
THREE INDEPENDENT SUCTION FANS
Each independent suction fan ensures the lightest fractions are removed from every discharge stream.
MULTIFUNCTION CONTROL PANEL
Each conveyor and separation component in the machine is adjustable to fit your specific infeed material.
STRICKLAND TRACKS
Heavy-duty Strickland tracks provide the Ventus 4 with the most reliable maneuverability.
