Not all mulch is created equal, and your customers know the difference
The key to making a great, high-quality mulch that will be in demand and fetch a premium price is to produce a consistent finished product. It’s not as easy as it sounds unless you have the right mulch processing equipment.
Too much fines and you’re selling dust which decreases your volume by weight and sucks up your colorant. Too much overs and you’re selling wood chunks which are better saved for grills and smokers. For a perfect finished mulch product, our high-torque shredders prepare wood and green waste with a primary grind, then our high-speed grinders produce a consistent, high-quality mulch grinding with reduced fines. Finally, pass it through a trommel to remove any fines that are present and add a solid drum for a color pass. The result is a mulch that your customers will rave about.
