Green Waste is a valuable resource (with an
inaccurate name)
Green waste is any organic waste that can be composted like leaves, grass clippings, twigs and branches, and domestic or commercial kitchen waste.
When discarded in the trash, green waste ends up in landfills, where it breaks down and emits methane, an odorless, highly flammable greenhouse gas. Properly processed, green waste can be turned into nutrient-rich compost which reduces trash in landfills, builds healthy soil, and helps address climate change.
Green Waste Processing Equipment
Ecoverse offers a wide range of products to address the challenges in green waste recycling. High-torque shredders and high-speed grinders handle green waste with ease in preparation for compost creation. Star screens are also a high production machine capable of processing a wide variety of green waste. Compost turners take it from there and ensure proper compost aeration and preparation of this nutrient-rich organic soil amendment.
