“We extended our proven technology, and in view of the exhaust standard Tier 4 final, we decided in favor of a diesel engine, based on the Mercedes OM 460, with an MTU unit,” Thomas Diekmann, Doppstadt Product Manager, explains. “At the same time the unit increases the torque and reduces the consumption values.” The machine equipped with a mechanical direct drive and a reinforced Bosch-Rexroth planetary gear can easily meet the Tier 4 final standard limit values without any particulate filter. Recycling companies will be well prepared for environmental requirements and exhaust standards.
Operation: Easy and Self-Explanatory
While the exhaust gas values were reduced, the ease of use for the operator was increased: By means of the new, self-explanatory multifunctional display it easily shows machine data that can then be regulated. In order to ensure highest degrees of safety, the operator can control the machine out of the cabin of the loader. All relevant machine parameters are displayed visually and acoustically on the multi control.
The use of replacement components enables even untrained service personnel to carry out maintenance and repairs. Doppstadt simplified the whole electrical system and transferred out of the engine compartment. Another advantage for the operator: a newly developed noise insulation at the radiator door guarantees a balanced noise level. A new automatic comb pressure system intensifies the shredding efficiency and in case of overload it prevents a machine standstill.
The automatic Doppstadt pressure preselection system “Variocontrol“ registers the load conditions during the shredding process and adjusts the shredding comb pressure accordingly. Thanks to quickly replaceable tools the DW 3060 Type D can be adjusted to various shredding requirements.
