The SM 514 trommel screen is the most powerful entry level trommel in the industry. With a throughput that can outpace much larger (and more fuel hungry) competitive machines, the overall performance of the SM 514 is unprecedented.
Loaded with all the same innovative features as the entire SM series trommel line from Doppstadt, the SM 514 saves time, money and space without sacrificing output.
Optional Wind Sifter
Remove paper, plastic and other light fractions inline with an optional belt-mounted wind sifter.
Rear and Side Conveyor
The overs are discharged by the rear conveyor; the fines are discharged from the side conveyor. Optional magnetic pulley or overband magnet can be added for ferrous separation.
Large Access Doors
Large access doors provide easy access to all critical components and functions of the machine.
Control all of the trommel functions remotely, such as from a wheel loader.
Central Control Panel
Easy operation, precise adjustments, and machine data accessible by the multifunctional display.
Self-cleaning of the drum by rotating, hydraulically tensioned cleaning brush.
The slip-on coupling allows the transport of the machine by means of a wheel loader grab (only machines with drawbar).
Easy access to engine and lubrication for effortless maintenance and repair. The water and oil cooler is provided with an additional dust protection blanket.
Quick-Change Screening Drum
The patented, load-sensing material feed enables optimum utilization of the large screening surface. Drums can be changed in 15 minutes or less for easy sizing transition.
The drum with direct drive ensures operational safety and an easy replacement.
